HIP Carousel 2020 goes virtual

We are proud to announce that the HIP Carousel 2020 will take place as a virtual event on October 17th!

The HIP CAROUSEL is a free one-day event held in English for and by professional women, where we come together to promote our businesses and boost our careers. Under the umbrella of the Frauenwirtschaftstage, it’s always a warm, fun, professional event that allows us to showcase the variety of talent in the region, gain new insight from talks and panel sessions, take part in workshops, learn from each other and forge new connections.

Martina Knobloch leads her own business in B2B event management with a strong focus on virtual and face-to-face events in Life Sciences, Analytics and Biotechnology. Her scientific background allows her to understand what her clients want to achieve. She brings in her passion for organization as well as her expertise into the HIP Community. She leads the HIP Steering Committee always thriving for further development of the HIP community. Martina and a team of HIP ladies successfully transferred the HIP community into a registered association in 2020, now called Heidelberg International Professional Women’s Forum (HIP) e.V. 

Janine Matje loves bringing people together for a diverting time. She is self-employed as a presenter, tour guide and trainer. As a studied librarian she discovered besides data and cataloging her passion for imparting knowledge and skills in an entertaining manner. From her experience as a teamleader she has created workshops using applied improvisation which offers new ways of finding creativity. She also welcomes groups and teams to design culinary pleasures or discover the old Heidelberg town with its brewery specialties. Furthermore, you can join her oriental dance classes to stay in shape and train your self-confident posture.  

Amarpal Kaur Sohi is an experienced Senior Product Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. She is skilled in Intercultural Communication, Sales Presentations, Technical Presentations, Competitive Analysis, and Product Management. Additionally, she is a Professional Coach with a CTI Certificate from The Coaches Training Institute. In Coaching she focused on Business and Life Coaching. She is fluent in English, German, Punjabi and Hindi and speaks basic French. She is passionate about learning and growth to help herself and others excel in their lives and unleash their true potential. She is also a great team player and believes that together as a whole we can create magnificent and beautiful things.

Patricia Comolet is an American who has lived in 7 countries on 4 continents. She currently resides in the Heidelberg area in Germany. An ICF PCC coach, she works to support organizations, teams and individuals who are going through intercultural and/or professional transitions. Patricia also facilitates events and moderates podium discussions for organizations, helping to extract the most valuable results from any given gathering. Annabelle (“Bee”) Baptista-Baumann is a corporate comedian, motivational humorist, blogger, published author and communication trainer. She is known for her ability to read situations with laser precision. Bee custom writes humorous motivational material to show groups and companies how to get the best out of any situation. She’s audacious and tells it like it is. She admits she is self-made but “has a few loose screws.” She delivers intuitive, interactive, and entertaining speeches that empower others to create change. She says, “It’s easier to learn with laughter than with anger.”

Michèle Ribeiro an intercultural Ghanaian-German gained over 25 years of professional experience in a variety of companies and industries, in different countries and cultures. She is now self- employed as trainer, facilitator and coach, leading seminars and facilitating workshops on leadership and teambuilding. Her corporate knowledge in different cultures, her expertise in personal development and her personal experiences as a woman in the business world, make her stand for women in business, cultural awareness and conscious leadership. 

Petra Kaiser has been working in B2B marketing communications, sales, and project management for the past 20+ years. Originally from a small town near Wiesbaden, Hessen, she spent close to two decades in the USA. True to the motto “Nothing will change unless you do,” she returned to Germany in Spring of 2019. Petra joined HIP as a way to network and exchange ideas with likeminded women from across the globe.
