The HIP Steering Committee wants to celebrate another great year of presentations, workshops and networking by inviting you to a hot beverage in the Restaurant Carosello in Heidelberg at 19:00. While warming our hands on our mugs, we’ll ask each of you to share one important take-away or learning from 2016.

Once tucked warmly indoors in the Mediterranean-style coziness, we’ll let our hair down and simply enjoy one another’s company.  Just fun with friends!

Of course we’ll wind up the evening with our famous ‘White-Elephant’ exchange.  There are many stories of where this tradition came from, but basically it’s your chance to pass onto someone else the one thing in your basement, cupboards, or garage that you would like to get rid of!  Funnily enough one person’s coal makes someone else’s diamonds! The funnier the better, so wrap it up nicely and let’s share some laughs as we open our gifts and swap them about according to the White Elephant set of rules.
