June Night Out: Dance Therapy
In June, we’re doing something a little different.
Join us for a guided movement session with Xi, where we’ll step out of our heads and gently into the body — no dance experience needed, no performance, just curiosity and a bit of play.
Ning Xi has a professional background in dance and has been active in the contemporary dance scene as a dancer and choreographer. She recently completed a Master’s degree in Dance Movement Therapy and now works as a Dance Movement Therapist. She skillfully integrates the creativity and expressiveness of dance with self-exploration, connection, and integration, bringing the healing potential of movement into her workshops. Through body awareness and movement expression, she supports participants in discovering inner resources and new possibilities.
Expect a soft arrival, a few simple guided exercises, and space to explore movement in a way that feels natural, grounding and surprisingly connecting. It’s less about “learning steps” and more about loosening up, resetting and sharing a moment that’s a little out of the ordinary.
We’ll keep the group intentionally small to create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
