Financial Education: Pension and Health Insurance in Germany

This workshop covers two very important topics: pension and health insurance. In the first part you will learn how the German state pension system works and what you can expect while paying into the system.

In the second part of the workshop basics about German health insurance system are taught:

• Get an overview regarding disability pension, family coverage like widow’s, widower’s and orphan’s pension and retirement pension.

• Learn more about how statutory and private health insurance system works and what you need to pay attention on family member protection.

• Get more information about possibilities for additional health insurance.

The workshop is free for members of HIP e.V.. Guest are welcome – we will charge 15€ to cover expenses.
